Refund and Return Policy

This Return and Refund Policy applies to online payments made through the official website of Kanchrapara Municipality (https://www.kanchraparamunicipality.org) for services such as ambulance booking and water tank booking.


1. General Policy

Kanchrapara Municipality provides essential public services, and payments made through the website are considered final once the transaction is successfully completed. Refunds or cancellations are permitted only under specific circumstances described below.


2. Cancellation Policy

Ambulance Booking:

Bookings can be cancelled at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled time by contacting the municipal helpdesk.

Once the ambulance is dispatched or service initiated, the booking cannot be cancelled.

Water Tank Booking:

Cancellation requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery.

No cancellations are allowed after the water tanker has been dispatched or delivered.


3. Refund Policy

Refunds will be considered only in the following cases:

The transaction amount was deducted from your bank account, but the booking confirmation was not generated due to a technical error.

The service could not be provided by the Municipality due to unavoidable circumstances (e.g., vehicle breakdown, operational issues).

The service was cancelled by the Municipality.

In such cases:

The refund amount will be credited to the original payment method within 7–10 working days, depending on your bank or payment gateway.

No cash refunds will be issued.


4. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:

User provides incorrect information while booking.

Cancellation after the dispatch of ambulance or water tanker.

Failure to avail the service due to the user’s unavailability or incorrect address.

Duplicate payments due to user error (unless verified and approved by the finance department).


5. Transaction Failure

If the amount is deducted from your account but the transaction fails or the service is not confirmed, please contact us with your transaction details.
Verification will be done by the Municipal Accounts Department, and refunds will be processed accordingly.
